Skin Jobs is a 2-4 Player "spy verses spy" action table top game. However these aren't your traditional spies but cybernetically enhanced life forms that are trained for hardened combat and of course computer-net-running.

The plan to accomplish the game development is to use Unreal Engine's visual scripting environment called Blueprints. I will also get assistance from close programming friends who also use Blueprints. The game environment will be streamlined and UI will be graphically simple and direct. Models are ready to be animated and will be repurposed when it makes sense.

Developing the gameplay so that it is fun will actually be the greatest challenge and so most of the focus will on that.  Skin Jobs is being designed with a cinematic experience in mind where the players feel like they have the power to direct the flow of how they can overcome obstacles, set traps, sabotage opponents and destroy enemy encounters along the way to meet their objectives.

  • Two Spy Players Verses A.I. Enemies:
  • Endoskeleton Form - Spawn form for both players
  • Skin Form - Phantom Skin, Bomber Skin
  • Armored Form - Phantom Armored, Bomber Armored
  • Three AI Enemy Types : Drifter  Skeleton, Sentinel Skeleton,  Abomination Boss-like-Skeleton  (Game A.I. Controllers).

Objectives:  Player with more accomplished objectives at the end of the game wins.

  • Objective #1:  Find the assigned skin design ( Data Block )by interfacing with archive terminals.

  • Objective #2: Take the skin design and replicate it at any replicator. (Six green power power blocks get added to your power pool when replicated).

  • Objective #3:  Retrieve the skin compatible cyberware data block from a archive terminal.

  • Objective #4:  Replicate the cyberware design with the retrieved data block. You can then equip the cyberware on your Skin.

  • Objective #5:  Kill at least one enemy spy in the facility.

  • Objective #6: Destroy the AI Core.

  • Objective #7:  Exit the facility on an enter/exit token.

  • Access Magnetic Floor - When activated, greatly slows travel speed by 90% through a 3 hex radius ( Soft Disposable - Core requirements: 2 Software )
  • Access Acid Gun Turrets - Corrosive damage, inflicts 3 damage over 3 minutes of time ( Soft Disposable - Core requirements: 2 Software )
  • Enslave Drifter, Sentinel, Abomination - (Soft Disposable - Core requirements: 3 Software)
  • Targeting Software - ( Aim assist, permanent weapons upgrade for use with any ranged weapon - Core requirements: 2 Software, 1 Combat )
